| The Irish Summerfest announces the addition of the group The Whole Schabang to their exciting lineup for the festival at Classic Park, home of the Lake County Captains, June 29th through July 2nd. The Whole Schabang featuring three time all Ireland button accordion player Buddy Connoly, plus a fiddle and base player from Lord of the Dance and Riverdance and lead singer Padraig Allen will appear June 30th July 1st and 2nd. |

Irish Summerfest Announces Move to Classic Park in Eastlake, Ohio Event to be Held on June 29 through July 2 Eastlake, OH – The 13th Annual Irish Summerfest is pleased to announce the festival’s move to Lake County in 2006. The Irish Summerfest will present the four-day Celtic festival at Classic Park – home of the Lake County Captains in Eastlake, Ohio – the weekend of June 29 through July 2, 2006. The move to Classic Park in Eastlake will establish the Irish Summerfest as the premiere Irish Festival for Lake, Geauga, Summit, Ashtabula and Eastern Cuyahoga Counties. The Northeast Ohio region is home to more than 200,000 people of Irish and Celtic heritage. “Other Northeast Ohio Irish festivals serve the Irish of Greater Cleveland and its western suburbs. Our goal is to serve fans in the developing areas to the East,” said Pat Coyne, Director of the Irish Summerfest. “We have room to grow for many years at our Summerfest’s
new home,” said Coyne. Besides bringing the best in Irish music to Lake County, Irish Summerfest also does its part to give back to the community. Sponsored in part by Our Heritage, Our Home, a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, a portion of the Summerfest’s proceeds are used to fund The Advanced Education Scholarship Program. Throughout its history, Our Heritage, Our Home has awarded 18 college scholarships. Applications for scholarships will be available on the Irish Summerfest website at www.irishsummerfest.org.
